I have been in the insurance business since graduating from Rockhurst College in 1975.
In 1996 I formed an independent insurance agency that helps clients with their financial needs. Including life, disability, Long term Care and employee benefits.
DI Concepts has evolved into a full line insurance brokerage agency still keeping the focus on our core values.
LTC planning is becoming a key planner for us as we age. it is really an asset protection device.
Regarding LTC, if you have a typical reimbursement plan and are living in or considering moving to a facility such as John Knox your insurance plan may not pay benefits.
Planning for us at this stage is really important. One item I see consistently is the lack of basic planning such as even a will. We help people with comprehensive planning.
I have seen in a number of clients that I work with, they have not updated their beneficiary designations on their life insurance policies. Or, have not placed one.
Please review your insurance and make sure everything is in order.

I had a great time at Southwest High School and have many fond memories.

Seeing old friends and where we are in life at this stage. Sharing memories and looking forward to begin new ones.
