I would expect input from someone who knew Ed better, but my recollection of him was a good guy and a good athlete (wrestling and football). He died in February, 1968 from injuries sustained in a car accident at 57th and Ward Pkwy.. Others in the car were Mike Grady, Jeff Chappelow and Dick McDonald.
I knew Ed from 1st Grade onward. He was a very kind person and had a great personality. His entire family were warm and always welcomed everyone into their home; a home that was filled with many children. Ed was taken too young, along with the others in that car accident. It was very hard to understand at the age we were, and no easier to understand at the age we are. Eddie is missed!
