Bob Scroggs died on May 20, 1972. He is buried at Johnson County
Memorial Gardens in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.  Growing up, Bob lived with his father and paternal grandmother.  He had an older brother, John Allen, and a younger brother, Dick. 

An article about Bob's death, and his father's struggle to understand it, appeared in the September, 1972 issue of The Town Squire.  The article represented that Bob had been a pre-med student in his junior year at the University of Arizona, and that his death was due to an amphetamine overdose.
