Steve died suddenly of a heart attack on February 18, 2009 in Sharon, Massachusetts. He had been in Kansas City over the holidays visiting family and saw Jim Bernard. He told Jim he was thinking about moving back to Kansas City in the next year or so to be closer to his parents. Jim told him about plans for our 40th Reunion and Steve said he was looking forward to reconnecting with old friends. Steve is survived by his wife and three children.

I remember Steve from Junior Dance Group, I think it was. He was always quite a gentleman, very kind and funny. Too bad his life ended so suddenly, especially before he got to see all of us and before we got to see him again! He will be missed.
