Michelle Denes Wilson Crawford

Graduated from Benedictine College in 1973, finished early in December of ‘72. Wish I had stayed the next semester, then I could’ve had more then one major instead of 4 minors! I taught school at Bishop Hogan High School for two years.
I left there and continues to work at the family call center, that was started in March of 1969. I started there after graduation. It was a real interesting career. I was able to talk to several different classmates, through the years, which was nice!
I left there to try a new adventure, to work for Commerce Clearing House. They are publishers of topical Law reports. I was a traveling sales representative. My territory was northeast kansas and northwest missouri. It was very interesting. I got tired of traveling and went back to the call center, after three years of traveling. I was there till I gave birth to my first daughter in January of 1987. Had three more daughters. Went back to the call center in 2003 till it was sold in June of 2007. It was a sad day. Oh the stories and history I have heard. No pagers at the beginning. We pushed “pagers” at that time, to make it easier to find our drs etc. long pages of eating here, going bowling etc was interesting but hard to keep up with sometimes, especially when the dr or on call person would not update their information
I have bought and sold houses, before “fixer uppers” were the thing to do. I bought my first house in September of 73, for $13,500. Sold it for $36,000, then bought another for that price and double that when sold. I have made a profit on all but one!!
I finally became a realtor in about 2008, part time. Love it most of the time!

Just married off my second daughter on 10-10-2020. It was hard during this time of covid. It was a beautiful wedding near Ozark, Missouri.

I have a new granddaughter born June 4th 2020, this was also interesting with this covid life. Her name is Bernadette Frances, she’s a beautiful little baby.
