Cynthia Nugent

Cynthia Nugent

Cindy died of complications from Multiple Sclerosis on July 17, 2012, at the Blue River Rehabilitation Center in Kansas City.  Cindy's long-time friend since childhood, Jane Woodson Hunt, was present with Cindy when she passed.  Cindy attended Penn Valley Community College after graduation from SWHS; she studied criminal justice, possibly influenced by her father who was a senior Judge from the Missouri Court of Appeals-Western District.  After that, Cindy worked in local law firms and as a cocktail waitress, then she owned and operated a business related to nail care.  Cindy loved politics and small animals, especially her cats.  Those wishing to honor Cindy's memor are asked to consider a contribution to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130 or to Wayside Waifs.
