Terri Lee Hurley, 70, of Holden, was born December 8, 1951, in Kansas City, the daughter of Jack C. and Dorothy A. (Fisk) Hurley.

She departed this life Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Terri was employed in Shipping and Receiving for Aero Express in Lee’s Summit. She enjoyed working on the farm she purchased 23 years ago. She loved raising all types of animals, including peacocks, horses, goats, turkey, chickens, geese, sheep, and all the stray cats she could find.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jackie Sands; and her son-in-law, Kenny Alterman. She is survived by her wife of 48 years, Jessie E. Gaston, of the home; her daughter, Stacy Jo Alterman of Holden; three grandchildren, Devin Alterman of Lee’s Summit, Britny Alterman of Sedalia, and Davis Alterman of Holden; three nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be on her farm, which she loved. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs, and may be sent in care of Stanley-Edenburn Funeral Home, 203 N. Armstrong St., Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080.
