Donna passed away on December 31, 2006 at the age of 55 of an aneurysm, a complication of colon cancer surgery. She had worked for 37 years at KU Medical Center, mostly in the Department of Urology. She began her career immediatley after graduating Southwest. In 2005 she was recognized in Ingram's Magazine as one of the publication's "Heroes in Healthcare." She served as the department's residency coordinator, helping new doctors get settled. Her life was her job, her children (a son and daughter) and her four grandchildren. She is survived by her mother as well as two sisters and two brothers, and is greatly missed. Information provided by Arnold Hermanson.
