Are you coming?

The Reunion Committee needs to get an advance idea for planning and budgeting purposes of how many people will attend our main event, which will be a casual dinner and dance at the Milburn Country Club at 7501 W. 69th Street in Overland Park, KS on Saturday night, September 13, 2014.  Ticket price will be $50 per person, and get this:  that represents no inflation since our 40th reunion!  We are thrilled to announce that Classmate Paul Hulsey is sponsoring our entertainment for the evening, a rousing and memorable performance by the KC band, Platinum Express.  Platinum Express features three out front vocalists and The Full Steam Horn section, knocking out the best Rhythm and Blues, Motown, Hot-Buttered Soul, and Sophisticated Funk in the straight-ahead, vibrant "Kansas City tradition".  Wear your dancin' shoes and get ready to Boogie!  Tickets will go on sale around June 1st, 2014.

1)   Do you plan to attend the Saturday night dinner/dance?

  Yes, by myself
Yes, and I'll bring my significant other or friend
No, I'm skipping it this time, but y'all have fun!

(Your answers do not obligate you in any way at this time! We just need your best guess. And please believe us, it will be casual, "country club" not withstanding.)

2)   Do you plan to attend the Brookside pub crawl (we hope to offer choices of meeting at both Charlie Hooper's and The Roasterie, which is our quieter, more sedate pub-alternative.)

Yes, classmates can find me at Charlie Hooper's
Yes, The Roasterie is more my style
No, I'm skipping both this time, but y'all have fun!

(Again, best guess only, no obligations. And your answers below will only show up in aggregate, in other words, your personal choice will not be identified. We just want to know where to expect the crowds!)

3)   Do you think you might need a hotel room if coming from out of town? We are planning to reserve a block of rooms at a hotel on the Plaza.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I'll want a hotel room in a reserved block.
Not sure yet, I might need a room.
No thanks, I'm covered on this one.

(Answering in the affirmative does not obligate you to anything; we are only trying to get an idea of how many rooms to hold. Detailed information will be sent about booking closer to the date. Please answer "no" if you live in the Metro area and will not need a room.)
