David, who was living in Haysville, Kansas, passed away in 2001 at the age of 50 from esophageal cancer.  He had accomplished many things:  Private pilot, Eagle Scout, Aviation Instrument Electronic Technician - Spartan School of Aeronautics, Avid volunteer - Lake Afton Public Observatory, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and local community service groups.  He was hnorably discharged from the USAF after 4 years of service.  He left behind his wife, Pamela Mingauw.
